I know we have at least a few members new to role-playing (RP-ing). Most of what you need to know in terms of rules and terms can be found in the other boards under this section.
Now, once you've read them, you're probably wondering: "Where do I really start?"
Well, it starts with an introduction (we just call 'em intros). Follow the template, and you'll get yourself a pretty basic character. Post it up on the "Submitted intros board" (here: eclipserescueguild.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=addcharacters)
Wait for a Staffie (myself, Keito-chan or Cxer) to approve your intro, and you're ready to begin!
After your intro
You've been introduced, and you're ready to delve into the world of the Eclipse Guild. If you want a rescue team, your first venue may be to find a public place to post something up and do so...
If you have specific people in mind, you may want to use the "TAG:" thing (Under "OoC and other codes" here: eclipserescueguild.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=rulesroleplay) to get their attention.
If you're going to be independent, or want a team to find you, try to strike up a conversation with a character at Dinner, or while you're out and about shopping. Take a job in the same dungeon as someone else, and let it unfold from there!
