Kiyo nudged open Umbreon's door with his nose. Stuffed in his mouth was a basket handle, assorted fruits piled inside, and wrapped around his neck was a red bandana. He put down the basket lightly on the floor, looking over at the black sillowhette of his sleeping sibling.
Sleeping in, just like always he sighed, grinning in the dark. His new, yelow pelt shimmered ever so slightly in the black room. That was the only thing that he hated about his new form. He sparkled.
He had only evolved from an Eevee about a week ago, in preparation for the journey to the Guild. Mom said he needed to toughen up and spend some time with his older sister and brother. So, when he had to pick, he picked the tattered pelt of Jolteon. Wonder if they'll be able to recognize me in my new evolution. he pondered silently. Sun probably will. She can read minds, after all. But that's cheating. That's no fun at all.
He raked his claws down the doorway, keeping himself occupied until Brother would wake up. Hopefully it would be before the wood was in shreds.

A scratching noise.
Sun's eyes flicked open.
She had not been sleeping; no, rather she had been thinking. Thinking about the newest wave of recruits that she needed to help in finding groups, thinking about how much more Umbreon was sleeping (was he sick? She wondered. It was awfully hard to get into a mind that drifted off into dreams all the time, and if she got anything it would just be nonsense.)
Without a sound, Sun leapt from the bed and landed on her floor. The door never creaked, so when she opened it the little yellow one in front of her didn't notice.
It's an awfully familliar aura... She thought, but then realized that she wasn't quite sure whether she knew the kid or not. If she didn't, it'd be awfully rude to just go diving into their thoughts.
"Sorry to interrupt your scratching, but I'm pretty sure my partner will be sleeping for some time." She smiled at the golden form. "Is there anything I can do?

Kiyo smirked. She can't even tell who I am. Some psychic. he said to himself.
"Um, yes, I'd just like to join the Guild, I suppose." he said shyly. I'd have thought my bandana would have given me away. he thought.
Whatever. He grabbed the basket, swinging it forwards. "Oh, and mom wanted me to bring you these." He grinned.

The smirk was an expression all too familliar to her, and the simple utterance of "Um" immediately brought back a wave of memories. It wasn't like the bandana had completely tipped her off; but it had made her a little curious to know more about the electric-type.
"Feel free to begin using our facilites whenever you like." Sun replied with a grin.
"Thank you Kiyo." Sun replied with a smile, her tail already beginning to wrap around the basket's handle. "I can already see all our favorites, right there on top." Her paw gently picked one off the top of the pile, and she tossed it to her now not-so-little sibling.

Kiyo bit into the fruit happily, juice splattering acorss his lips. "Fank...voo!" he said between bites, finishing it quickly, and licking his lips.
"So, um, how's life as a Guildmaster? Everyone really seems to respect you two.." he said, shuffling his paws. "The last time I visited, you were still just graduates."

Laughing, Sun replied with a simple "you're welcome". She used her paw like a sponge to get some of the dripping juice off of Kiyo's face. "You'll never change."
Simply, the Espeon nodded. "It's been well. I'm glad that everyone seems to think that way." Respect came with two things- either kindness or fear; she knew that well. Be kind, and they'll be kind back. Build trust, then respect.
"Oh, yes, I do remember those days..." Her tail muscles relaxed as she floated back into her memories. "We were hardly a guild. Best way put; there were a few teams who collaborated and one or two vererans who gave advice." Back then, it could've hardly been considered a guild... it hadn't been until she stepped up with her sibling to lead that they'd given the group a name.

Kiyo prickled under the humiliation of being cleaned like a baby. A spark flew from his pelt, but he relaxed quickly. It was his older sister, after all.
"Really? I seem to remember the Guild much nicer...maybe just because it was the first time I'd seen anything like it..." An explorer. That was what mom wanted him to be. Just like Sun. Maybe he wanted it a bit, too.
He closed his eyes, remembering that first trip. The sounds of the shopkeepers, and the civilians hustle and bustle. And then there was the Rescue Teams. Everyone in town seemed to look up to them. That was what he wanted. That sort of respect. Like Sister and Brother's
